
Kallol Nandi was born and raised in West Bengal, India, he has moved to USA in 1995 and lives in Atlanta since 1997. He has a Graduate degree in Physics and a Master degree in Computer Science and Application. Professionally Kallol is the founder and Chief Architect of Initechs LLC.
Kallol has incorporated Pujari Inc a non-profit Bengali organization in Atlanta in 2001, where he has served as President, Chairman, and Member of Board of Directors for over a decade. He also served as a board member of Indian American Cultural Association; Steering Committee Member and Planning Committee Head of North American Bengali Conference 2023, Advisory Committee Member of Bengali Performance Art Conference for 2019 and 2022, and Secretary of Atlanta Theater Workshop since 2012. In 2019 Kallol has founded Aabaha Inc a non-profit organization focusing on bringing stories of immigrant lives of Southeast Asian diaspora, their heritage, culture, and struggles of the immigrants in USA to mainstream American audience using the narratives of theater.
Under his guidance Aabaha hosts an International Theater Festival (Digital) to bring theaters from all over the world using technology and present it to the global audience. He is a theater-maker, he has directed more than ten plays and acted on more than a dozen of plays. At his leisure he writes stories, novels, does painting and wooden sculptures.
