Our mission is to present and advance culturally diverse theater that strengthens community connection. We showcase stories from multiple cultural traditions, support artists and cultural exchange, and engage audiences through accessible performances and dialogue that build mutual understanding—especially among multilingual, multi-generational immigrant and intercultural communities.
About AATF
Aabaha Art & Theater Festival (AATF) is a multi-day festival featuring multilingual, multicultural theater, community arts experiences, and opportunities for dialogue. AATF welcomes Greater Atlanta audiences and visiting artists to celebrate cultural exchange through performance, conversation, and community participation.

What is Aabaha?

What makes AATF unique?
AATF is unique because it brings together multilingual, multicultural theater and community arts in one festival, pairing performances with artist/audience dialogue to build real cross-cultural connection. It features a mix of Greater Atlanta groups and visiting ensembles from other U.S. cities, creating an accessible, community-centered platform for cultural exchange—especially for immigrant, intercultural, and multi-generational households.

Yes—currently English, Bengali, and Hindi, with additional languages planned.
